The Territory
Located in the countryside of Montallegro, in the province of Agrigento, at 280 meters above sea level, this land embodies the very essence of ancient Sicily.
The very name Pileri evokes the ancient vocation of this land, where watermills once stood, and whose stone columns (called “pileri”) gave the area its name. An old stone arch, still visible on a neighboring property, stands as a silent witness to this productive past.
From here, the view opens up to a breathtaking panorama overlooking the Strait of Sicily.
Just a short distance away, you can admire some of the island’s most precious treasures: the Torre Salsa Nature Reserve, with its unspoiled golden beaches; the enchanting Scala dei Turchi, with its white limestone cliffs; and the majestic Valley of the Temples, an an indelible mark of Greek civilization in Sicily.
This strategic location is not only aesthetically valuable — it also has a profound impact on the quality of our products.
The interaction between sea, hills, and sun creates ideal conditions for cultivating olives and vines that fully express the aromatic and flavorful potential typical of this unique corner of Sicily.
